May 26th - Festival deadline moved back

EXTRA! EXTRA!
The Bearded Child has officially moved the entry deadline back to June 27, 2008 (final). We are also moving the Minneapolis leg of the festival back to Aug. 13-16. Stay tune for further updates!

January 22nd - Increasingly amazing old-man Bearded Child returns again!

Aye! We're back for a gulp 8th year of programing independent & experimental films in Minnesota! That's an awful long time, but rest assured the Bearded Child is sneaking ample amounts of Just For Men, Viagra, and pure-grade Columbian cocaine into its morning Coco Puffs to stay up and hip with you kids. Let me tell you!

September 25th - The Future

Plans for a 2008 Bearded Child are underway. We are considering a massive week-long experimental film & music madness fest to take place in Minneapolis, but can't decide if it's worth abandoning our roots in good 'ol Grand Rapids. What do yo think? Does the charm of an isolated small-town make the festival, or would it best be held in a city people could actually get to...? It's a tough call. Either way, it will be unspeakably rad, so make your plans NOW!

Also, talk of a Spring 2008 tour is in the works, so let us know if you want us to come to your city! We're open to most spaces and collaborative ideas.
